Module: Deposit and Loan System (DLS)

This module enables the management of deposits and loans of parishes for the Diocese by allowing the creation of multiple deposit and loan accounts. It features automatic interest calculation for both deposits and loans, as well as extensive reporting capabilities including account statements.

Deposit Management
This feature manages multiple deposit accounts for parishes or other groups, where both deposit and withdrawal transactions are recorded for every deposit account. Interest rates are entered and changed either individually or globally, and interest income is calculated on a user-defined period and can be reinvested or a check printed to the parish.

Loan Management
This feature manages multiple loan accounts for parishes or other groups. Interest rates are entered and changed either individually or globally, and interest expense is calculated on a user-defined period. Payments are applied to a loan account and deducted from principal balance. Account statements are generated which detail interest expense.

Interest Calculations and Posting
This feature calculates interest for deposit and loan accounts for edit and review. It includes daily posting for detail deposit and loan transactions, as well as Month End Close that posts interest and transfers entries to XTINTF file.

Extensive Reporting Capabilities
Included in our reporting capabilities is an Account Statement which summarizes all activity for a defined period, detailed transactions list by parish or all entities, Notes Payable report which details all deposit data for the Diocese, and Notes Receivable which details all loan data for the Diocese.

Parish Management
Information in this section includes:

• Parish name and address
• Phone, fax numbers and e-mail address
• Pastor name and FEIN number
• Comment section for notes
